For Nicole and Oliver, both chefs in Los Angeles, their glamorous country wedding in Portugal, the bride’s birthplace, had to be celebrated in a big party, with their family, and all their famous friends from the film industry from Hollywood! I’m sure you will recognize Annabelle Wallis from Peaky Blinders or the most well known “Captain Kirk” Chris Pine, it was insane being around them!
Quinta do Convento was the chosen place for the wedding venue. It is located further inland, a mere 40 minutes from Lisbon airport, which facilitated access for all guests who came from abroad. Thus, in one place, they were able to stay overnight, enjoy a stunning scenery and appreciate the wine tradition of a place with history. Even the wedding ceremony took place in the chapel of the Convent, which, besides being beautiful in itself, was magnificently decorated.
All the organization and planning was done by the dear and truly professional Carina Olim of La Key Events, who managed to leave the bride and groom dazzled with all the majestic decoration of the room and tables. And they were also taken by surprise with the performance of the biggest Portuguese double of the king of rock n’roll, Elvis Presley! Without a doubt, one of the highlights of the day!
Joy and relaxation were always a constant from the beginning to the end of the event! This group of Hollywood friends really knows how to throw a party !! Right from the beginning, with the preparations, while the bride and groom arranged themselves in different buildings, that their best friends were always around to support and cheer a moment that usually is of some tension and nervousness.
And the surprises continued throughout the night at the wedding reception with the fireworks ✨over the vineyards at time of cutting the cake, and then an incredible winery transformed into a dance floor! It was so unexpected that everyone was on fire, strongly stimulated by the lights and music tracks of the Jukebox DJ’s that continued until the sunrise! 💃 It was, without a doubt, a day not to be forgotten, both for us and for everyone present! Simply amazing!
