Engagement Session in Azenhas do Mar

This loving couple flew from the United States of America to Portugal so that they could have their photographic engagement session in one of the most typical Portuguese villages, Azenhas do Mar.
Ashley and Jake found us through a google search. We exchanged some examples of engagement sessions and they fell completely in love with the small whitewashed houses on the cliffs above the blue sea, with their doors and windows matching. from that moment on, there was no doubt where their engagement session had to be. Just take a peek at how delighted they are with one another 👩‍❤️‍👨 in the picturesque corners of the village!

As they were strolling together through the old village, it was quite touching to see the interest they showed in the old Portuguese culture. As they really loved to take pictures in the oldtown public washhouses, with the washing tanks where back in the day women used to get together to wash the clothes by hand, the so called “lavadeiras”.

A love ballad by the sea

As the day went on, the spirit of celebration of their love and union was always present, like the movement of the waves in constant excitement and complicity, as if they had always been there, together, as one. With the intensity of the cliffs and the vastness of the sea…! Can you feel it?
